The Little Beach Hut Company makes a trip to the beach a day to be remembered. We provide you with your own pretty little hideaway by the sea, equipped with all you need to ensure a hassle free, fun day. They really are a 'home from home'.

Based on Mersea Island, a little-known gem just off the Essex Coast, Mersea is renowned for its native oysters and boasts a thriving fishing port, winding creeks, nature reserves and excellent sailing. The beautiful beach has lines of traditional beach huts, all enjoying fabulous sea views.  Our huts are suitable in all weathers as they either have interior glass doors or large windows and some have back windows flooding light throughout. All our huts have kitchen areas with sinks and gas cookers. The car park, toilets, playground and cafe are a stones throw from all our huts. The huts, which are available by the day or for longer periods, are ideal for small families, small groups of friends, couples or as a sanctuary just for one.  

Our huts are perfect for location shoots and have been seen on the BBC, ITV's This Morning, Coast magazine, The Sunday Times, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph, Wedding magazine, Jojo Maman Bebe, Prima, Essex Living, Essex Life and many other publications.

Please see our Terms and Conditions of Hire before booking. Please note our maximum numbers per hut of eight guests at Peggy (including children and babies) and six at Bertie, Kitty and Lottie (including children and babies).  Please note there is no electricity or running water at the huts, but fresh water taps are available close by and water dispensers are provided.

Well behaved dogs are welcome with a maximum of two dogs please.
